Quailing In Fear - Lyrics

Descend, thee wayfarer
To the cold arcane cellars
Where once ravished beauty wept
Where terror maliciously crept

Chorus :
They lay quailing in fear
Wretched victims, their destiny clear
Wallow in fallen leaves, embedded by blood
Unit'd in death, the crimson flood

The bleats they still resound
In haunting crescendo, salvation unfound
Know, that ere writhed here our loves
Succoured by none, not e'en fro above

Oh! Slaughter'd in zeal

(Town's People)
O lord in heavens high
We entreat thee
Come down fro thy sky
And render us free

Chorus :
They lay quailing in fear
Wretched victims, their destiny clear
Wallow in fallen leaves, embedded by blood
Unit'd in death, the crimson flood
